If you have kids, then there is a pretty good chance you've seen PBS' "Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum", or maybe you've read them any of the amazing books from the "Ordinary People Change the World" Series.
The man behind those gorgeous illustrations? That's Chris Eliopoulos!
He's coming to the brewery on Sunday August 11th to help launch his new book, "The Imaginoodles". It's a full slate of kid-friendly awesomeness, with The Curious Reader bookstore selling all of Chris' books for you to take home (and for Chris to sign)
Starting at 11am:
- every kid gets a free sticker, designed and illustrated by Chris
- from 11am to noon, episodes of "Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum" playing on our Big Screen
- anyone who purchases one of Chris' books from The Curious Reader is entered into a raffle to win a fast cartoon illustration done of their child!
- at noon, Chris will be reading "The Imaginoodles" and then (in honor of our next door neighbors) "I am George Washington"
- book signing to follow
Comedy Fundraiser for the Rodriguez Family

Since our opening in 2012, we have brewed over 120 styles of beer. We pride ourselves in our array of traditional, and not-so-traditional, offerings. Meet Our Brewmaster
Christopher Basso
Brewmaster, Christopher Basso A graduate of both Boston University and the French Culinary Institute, Christopher began his brewing career at the Brooklyn Brewery. A founding partner/owner of Newburgh Brewing Company, Christopher has created a diverse breadth of offerings from Newburgh Brewing. Since 2012, he has personally brewed or overseen the brewing of over 50 different styles of beer. With a culinary background, Christopher has a keen appreciation for the beautiful pairing of beer and food. He brings that appreciation to each and every recipe.
